I have been rector (priest-in-charge) at St. Columba since fall 2019. I enjoy listening to where God is at work in people's lives, digging into the Bible, and exploring the interface between art and Christian spirituality. Outside of local church life, I serve on several regional committees related to worship and spiritual formation. I'm a facilitator with the Institute for Healing of Memories, which began as part of South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission and uses a community based deep listening process to enable reconciliation and healing of historic wounds.
I have lived in Edmonton most of my life. Since 2002, I have served churches in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Viking, Fort Saskatchewan, Connecticut, and Jamaica. I have a B.A. (Linguistics) from the U of A, and a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School.
I am married to Steve, bishop of the Diocese, and we have three teenagers and one very small dog.
